PROCESS STUDY 4 — Illustration Art Direction
I selected and art-directed local artists to create Ridwell’s yards signs in new cities. I developed criteria for choosing local artists, looking first for women, BIPOC, and LGBTQI+. For Portland, I selected well-known and beloved artist Lisa Congdon who was already a Ridwell member! She shared her artwork for the project on her Instagram account of 500K followers, which helped bring great visibility to the cause.
