Designed the look and feel of the photography to feel fresh with natural light, and have a modern farmhouse feel. Developed concepts for photography shot list from inspiration, selected props. Worked with stylist, Ethel Brennan on set, and photographer Aubrie Pick. The challenge was to make baking soda, borax and vinegar look visually interesting and appealing. Weldon Owen’s publishes How-To coffee table books by finding influencers, and co-authoring the content in order to create their beautiful, signature 200-300 page books. Every book is written and developed chapter by chapter over four to five months. As art director, I conceptualized the coffee-table book design/art direction and designed the books cover-to-cover, creating visual content for every page. Art-directed photo-shoots. Art-directed illustrators. Sourced visual content. Worked with editorial team weekly to present ideas and share progress. Readied book for print.
